At The Greenery Shop, we take pride in delivering healthy plants and quality gardening supplies to help you cultivate your perfect garden. However, we understand that sometimes you may need to return or exchange an item. Please review our policy below to ensure a smooth process.
Our Returns Policy
We accept returns within 15 days of receiving your order. To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be unused and in the same condition as received
- All original packaging must be intact
- Plants must show no signs of damage caused after delivery
Important Note: Due to the perishable nature of live plants, we cannot accept returns on the following items unless they arrive damaged:
- All Other Shrubs
- All Other Trees
- Annual Bedding Plants
- Artichoke Plants
- Asparagus Plants
- Brassica & Leafy Green Plants
- Buddleja
- Climbing Plants
- Container Shrubs
- Container Trees | Trees in Pots
If these items arrive damaged, please contact us immediately with photos of the damage.
How to Initiate a Return or Exchange
- Contact Us: Email our customer service team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order. Use the subject line “Return/Exchange Request” and include:
- Your order number
- The item(s) you wish to return/exchange
- Reason for return
- Photos if the item is damaged (required for plant returns)
- Wait for Approval: We’ll respond within 2 business days with return instructions.
- Ship Your Return: Once approved, package the item securely and ship to: The Greenery Shop Returns

Refund Processing
Once we receive your return:
- Refunds will be processed within 5 business days
- The refund will be issued to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error
- You’ll receive an email confirmation when your refund has been processed
Exchanges
For exchanges:
- We’ll ship your replacement item once we receive your return
- If the exchange item is of higher value, you’ll need to pay the difference
- For lower value items, we’ll refund the difference
- Standard shipping charges apply for exchanges
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect:
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
- Include photos clearly showing the damage or incorrect item
- We’ll arrange for a replacement or refund at no additional cost to you
