Weigela florida ‘Wings of Fire’ is best known for its magnificent foliage which starts out medium green in spring, when clusters of pink trumpet-shape flowers form along the branches. Once the blooms come to an end in late spring, the foliage takes over, changing to an attractive variegated red. As autumn approaches, leaves turn a show-stopping fiery-red.
