A superb new self fertile variety that produces the most breathtaking display of berries, even without a nearby pollinator! Flattened heads of creamy white, summer flowers are followed by abundant clusters of pale green berries which gradually ripen through white, deep pink, blue and eventually black. The berries make a showy display that remains on the plant well into winter, long after the leaves have fallen. Throughout the summer, Viburnum nudum ‘Brandywine’ is cloaked in long, glossy green foliage which turns to burgundy-red as autumn approaches. This deciduous, spreading shrub is ideal for bringing a long season of colour and interest to mixed borders. Height and spread:2.5m (8′).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
