If cross pollinated, the female plants will later produce striking metallic blue berries which contrast strongly with he wine red stem tips. Viburnum davidii is a bushy, evergreen species with leathery, dark green foliage that is conspicuously veined. It makes a pleasing addition to mixed borders providing an excellent, low maintenance, background plant for summer flowering perennials. For the best chance of berries, grow several plants in close proximity to increase cross pollination. Height and spread: 1.5m (5’).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
