With its narrow, green leaves and attractive gold edging, Taxus baccata ‘David’ is a more compact version of golden Irish Yew and perfect for the smaller garden. This compact, hardy evergreen is slow growing, with a dense, stiffly upright habit that makes a handsome feature in the garden. Perfect as a formal container plant, or stand-alone specimen in borders and rockeries. This is a male plant which does not produce the highly poisonous fruits, making it better suited to gardens that are visited by children. Height: 1.5m (5′). Spread: 1m (3′).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
