A particularly attractive Mountain Ash with dark green, lobed foliage that is somewhat different in appearance to most Rowan trees. The dense clusters of fluffy white flowers are always busy with insects in spring. By autumn, they are replaced by large, round, scarlet red berries which provide a feast for wild birds. With maturity, the upright branches form a rounded crown which takes on vibrant autumn colours. Sorbus hybrida L. ‘Gibbsii’ makes an excellent, medium sized specimen tree for gardens and wildlife areas. Height: 12m (39′). Spread: 8m (26′).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
