Salvia ‘Lavender Dilly Dilly’

Salvias are having a resurgence in popularity, and this one is a real beauty. Upright spikes of open-mouthed, lavender-blue flowers rise above a neat clump of aromatic foliage, which remains evergreen in mild areas. The stems and calyces are deep purple-black, contrasting elegantly with the blooms. Salvia ‘Lavender Dilly Dilly’ positively thrives in hot sunny spot, and shows good drought resistance once established. Perfect for patio containers, gravel gardens and the front of sunny borders.
