Salvia ‘Amistad’

Salvia ‘Amistad’ is an exceptionally beautiful new variety. Exquisite rich purple flowers are carried on tall, near-black stems above a mound of lush green foliage. With regular deadheading, this magnificent hardy perennial can bloom almost continuously from May right through to October, attracting a host of bees and butterflies throughout the season. Ornamental Sage has long been a stalwart of cottage garden borders, and this one is no exception. Perfect for exotic planting schemes and wildlife gardens too. Height: 120cm (48″).
