The Yellow Banksian Rose is a very vigorous rambling rose that has the advantage of being completely thornless! An RHS Award of Garden Merit Winner, Rose ‘Lutea’ bears large clusters of pale yellow, double flowers from spring and continues all the way through the summer months too. This rose is capable of tremendous growth if left un-pruned and so would be an ideal choice for growing through a large tree to add an extra dimension of colour without the trouble of being thorny too, also perfect for covering the wall of a house if given some support wires. Height 12m (39′). Spread: 4m (13′).
Companion planting: Try growing roses with garlic, chives, thyme or mint to help deter aphids and blackfly.
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
