Rhododendron ‘Vuyk’s Scarlet’ (Azalea Group)

Awarded a prestigious RHS AGM, this is a well known variety with a strong growth habit. Rhododendron ‘Vuyk’s Scarlet’ produces masses of crimson red, funnel-shaped flowers in early May. This evergreen Azalea forms a neat, compact shrub. The low, spreading branches are cloaked in small, glossy evergreen leaves that provide year round colour in acid borders and containers. Height: 90cm (36″). Spread: 120cm (48″).
