Rhododendron ‘Marie Fortie’

Trusses of large, rich pink, funnel-shaped flowers with blotches of dark purple in the throat are borne during late spring and early summer. Rhododendron ‘Marie Fortie’ is a hardy spreading shrub. Its glossy, deep green,leathery leaves remain evergreen, making a fine backdrop for summer flowering perennials. A superb choice for a woodland garden or planting in mixed borders on ericaceous soils. Height: 150cm (5′). Spread: 2m (6′).
