A Knap Hill hybrid, Rhododendron ‘Harvest Moon’is a rarely seen variety from English breeding. Trusses of gently perfumed, trumpet-shaped, sunset yellow-orange flowers are borne on bare stems in May just as the leaves emerge. The young foliage emerges bronze, maturing to green throughout the summer months before turning to red and bronze in the autumn. A pretty deciduous shrub for and acid border or large container if grown in ericaceous soil. Height and spread: 1.5m (5’).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
