Rhododendron ‘Elsie Lee’ (Azalea Group)

The frilly, double blooms of Rhododendron ‘Elsie Lee’ make a flamboyant display in late May. This evergreen Azalea is popular for its large, lilac-mauve flowers which are somewhat unusual in Azaleas. Awarded an RHS AGM for its garden performance, this compact, shrub has a low, spreading habit and requires very little maintenance. An excellent specimen for cascading over low walls and rockeries, or growing in a container on the patio. Height: 60cm (24″). Spread: 80cm (31″).
