Prunus pumila ‘Depressa’ is a low growing, groundcover hardy shrub. The American Dwarf Cherry forms a dense carpet of grey green leaves on deep red stems in spring, which provides the setting for its dainty, very open white flowers. Later in the year, as autumn approaches, the foliage turns shades of red and orange, adding a touch of drama before they finally fall. Ideal for growing on banks, slopes or on low maintenance areas of your garden, this variety will suppress weeds whilst providing you with colour and interest throughout the year. Height: 45cm (18″). Spread: 300cm (118″)
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
