This ornamental cherry has been grown as a multi-stemmed specimen to produce a spreading ‘shrubby’ appearance. Prunus ‘Accolade’ is a deciduous, spreading tree that flowers abundantly, and slightly earlier than most cultivars. Semi-double, pale pink blooms smother the bare branches of this ornamental Cherry from early April. Throughout summer, the well-branched canopy of foliage casts valuable shade, before turning to brilliant tones of gold and yellow in autumn. This showy little Cherry makes a pretty specimen tree, and adds splash of spring colour to the edge of woodland plantings. Height and spread: 8m (26’).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
