As the name suggest, Monarda ‘Pink Supreme’ produces fabulous shaggy whorls of pink flowers set above clumps of blissfully aromatic foliage. Bergamot, or Beebalm as it is often known, has long been a cottage garden favourite. It makes a lovely cut flower for summer bouquets, and always plays host to bees, butterflies and other insects throughout its long flowering period. This particular cultivar has a shorter habit than many, making it perfect for the front of borders. Height: 60cm (24″). Spread: 40cm (16″).
Culinary note: Use the dried leaves to make Bergamot tea or use the sweet, spicy flavoured petals to enhance salads, jellies, rice or pasta dishes. For more details about edible flowers click here.
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
