Magnolia ‘Fire’

We are extremely excited to offer this rare and remarkable variety. Spotted on a Chinese exhibition stand a few years ago, it caught the attention of magnolia collectors due to its extremely bright pink flowers. Unlike most other magnolias, the colour carries to both sides of the petal, and extends to the very the innermost ones, creating an intensely colour-saturated bloom. Thought to be a unique, regional sport of M. sprengeri var. diva, Magnolia ‘Fire’ is an exclusive variety for the magnolia connoisseur.  Multi-stemmed, tree-like habit. Height: 4.5m (15ft). Spread:2.5m (8ft)
