Magnolia Acuminata ‘Blue Opal’

A most unusual magnolia that is definitely worth a second look. Magnolia acuminata ‘Blue Opal’ is a medium sized deciduous tree that gives a spectacular show in early summer! When the buds appear they are a wonderful blue colour which will slowly open to reveal a lovely yellow flower inside. A covering of these amazing blooms will be set off against a background of rich dark green foliage which lasts well into the autumn, making this variety one to choose! Height: 15m (49′).
