Similar to the popular variety ‘Lane Roberts’, but slightly larger with a strong pyramidal habit. Like all Sweet Gum trees, Liquidambar styraciflua ‘Thea’ is grown for its breathtaking autumn colours. The bright green summer foliage turns to brilliant shades of crimson, scarlet and purple. This is a recent introduction from the Netherlands and makes a fine specimen tree for a large open space. Height: 25m (80’). Spread: 12m (40’).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
