Leucothoe Fontanesiana ‘Rainbow’

A fully hardy, architectural, evergreen shrub with arching branches. Oblong, lance shaped, dark-green leaves are heavily mottled with cream and pink making an attractive display all year round. Leucothoe fontanesiana ‘Rainbow’ produces small, bell-shaped, white flowers borne in axillary racemes in late spring. This colourful shrub requires an acid soil, preferably in full or partial shade. Leucothoe provide an excellent addition to acidic borders and woodland gardens. Height: 1.5m (5′). Spread: 2m (6′).
