As the name suggests, Lavender ‘Imperial Gem’ is a particularly compact cultivar reaching just 50cm (20″). Throughout summer it throws up stiff stems topped with deep violet flowers that contrast beautifully with its evergreen, silvery foliage. Given its tidy growth habit, this bushy English Lavender makes a superb low hedge which will attract bees and other pollinating insects. Perfect for edging pathways where its perfume can be appreciated each time you brush past the aromatic foliage. Height and spread: 50cm (20″).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
Culinary Herb note: Some parts of these plants are edible and can be used as herbs to add flavour and colour to your meals. For more details about edible flowers click here.
