Lavender Angustifolia Essence Purple

Long-blooming, drought-resistant and easy to grow, lavender is a staple of every sunny garden. Lavender angustifolia ‘Essence Purple’ is a particularly early-flowering variety, forming dense, rounded clumps of greyish green aromatic foliage that retain their shape well and provide year-round structure and interest. Straight stems of bright blueish-purple flowers form a beautiful haze above the foliage throughout summer, attracting bees and butterflies. The long-lasting blooms are also perfect for cutting or drying. Height: 45cm (16-20in). Spread: 45-60cm (18-24in).
