Hypericum Kalmianum ‘Blue Velvet’

This St. John’s Wort makes a superb filler for borders, even before the blooms appear! Eye-catching blue-green foliage forms a bushy semi-evergreen mound that is covered with golden yellow flowers from July through to September. The sunny blooms of Hypericum kalmianum ‘Blue Velvet’ are followed by prominent, conical red-tinged fruits that extend its season of interest well into autumn. A low maintenance, rounded shrub that is easy to grow and tolerates a wide range of growing conditions. Height and spread: 90cm (36″).
