Escallonia ‘Red Dream’

A host of small, dark, evergreen leaves contrast perfectly with the red-pink tubular flowers in summer. Escallonia ‘Red Dream’ has a useful low growing habit that makes it suitable for hedging and ground cover, as well as the planting in the shrub border. The glossy foliage is salt tolerant, making it an ideal shrub for coastal plantings. Hardy and low maintenance, this easy to grow shrub also provides a valuable food source for bees and other pollinating insects. Height: 60cm (24″). Spread: 100cm (39″).
