Deutzia ‘Tourbillon Rouge’

From early summer, Deutzia ‘Tourbillon Rouge’ bears panicles of sweetly fragrant, pink flushed blooms along the length of its arching stems. Although grown for its striking flowers, from late autumn onwards, mature plants reveal attractive orange-red peeling bark that only adds to their charm. This hardy deciduous shrub is fast growing and makes an eye-catching specimen for cottage gardens and mixed borders. Height and spread: 2m (6′,5″).
