Deutzia Pulchra

A lovely shrub for a mixed border delivering impact in spring and early summer before retreating to a plain green backdrop for later-performing perennial flowers. Clusters of dainty, pink-tinged white flowers hang like pendulous bells against a backdrop of dark green, lanceolate foliage. Forms an upright shrub with gently arching branches which feature cinnamon-coloured peeling bark. 1.5-2.5m (5ft-8.2ft).
