Inspired by an old Estonian legend about the ghost of a fair-haired maiden, Clematis ‘Valge Daam’, or ‘White Lady’, bears satiny white blooms from July to September. Large flowers, 15-18cm in diameter are composed of unusually shaped petals that are wide and rounded but finish with a long, elegant tip which adds to their graceful, star-like appearance. This late flowering clematis is nicely compact, and a useful choice for container culture on the patio or in a small courtyard garden. Pruning group: 3. Height: 1.5-2.5m (60-98in). Spread: 50cm-1 metres (20-39in).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
