Chamaecyparis Obtusa ‘Tsatsumi Gold’

An unusual dwarf conifer with fine, thread-like foliage which emerges bright yellow in spring, turning yellow-green in summer and deepening to gold in autumn/winter. Chamaecyparis obtusa ‘Tsatsumi Gold’ is very slow-growing, with a rounded habit when young, maturing to pyramidal as it develops a central leader. Growth is somewhat irregular. Perfect for containers, rock gardens and small borders. RHS Award of Garden Merit. Height and spread: 1m (39in) in 10 years.
