Ceanothus X Pallidus ‘Marie Simon’

This pink California Lilac is sure to attract attention in the garden. A froth of pale mauve-pink blooms cover Ceanothus x pallidus ‘Marie Simon’ from midsummer to autumn, followed by attractive red seed capsules. In autumn, this deciduous shrub discards its glossy green foliage to reveal an upright framework of purple-red stems. With a bushy rounded habit, this medium sized shrub is ideal for the back of borders, trained against a wall or planted in wildlife areas where it will attract plenty of pollinating insects.
