Ceanothus ‘Marie-rose’

This pretty California Lilac boasts masses of hazy pink blooms against a backdrop of glossy green foliage. From July to September Ceanothus ‘Marie-rose’ attracts pollinating insects to its fluffy looking flowers, which are succeeded by red seed capsules that extend the season of interest well into autumn. The purple stems of Ceanothus ‘Marie-rose’ form a medium sized deciduous shrub that makes a lovely feature at the back of borders or trained as a wall shrub. Height and spread: 150cm (59″).
