Catananche Caerulea Alba

This bright little perennial makes a superb addition to cut flower arrangements for its long-lasting blooms! Ragged-edged, pure white flowers burst from straw like buds in summer. The flowers are replaced by papery seed heads that can be used to good effect in dried arrangements too. Although a relatively short-lived perennial, Catananche caerulea delivers a charming nostalgic feel to cottage garden borders and will happily seed about to produce new plants as the years go by. Height: 60cm (24″). Spread: 30cm (12″).
