Buddleja Davidii ‘Groovy Grape’

A colour intense Buddleja in a classic shade of rich purple with generously long panicles of flowers.

Buddleja davidii ‘Groovy Grape’ develops a rounded to upright habit with arching branches and violet-purple flowers, 20-25cm long. Given a sunny spot, ‘Groovy Grape’ will pump out flowers from July to autumn, their honey scent is irresistible to butterflies. Use as a feature shrub at the back of the border, or even a flower-filled hedge. A robust, fast-growing and long-flowering shrub that tolerates a wide range of soil types including poor, dry ones. Height: 2.5-3m (8-10ft). Spread: 1.8-2.5m (6-8′).
