A graceful, arching habit and purple to red-brown foliage make this a superbly ornamental Barberry. The richly coloured leaves of Berberis thunbergii ‘Red Dream’ contrast beautifully with its pale yellow spring flowers which are always popular with pollinating insects. This hardy deciduous shrub makes a fine addition to borders, creating a distinctive colour contrast among green leaved specimens.
