A spectacular, tri-coloured Berberis, boasting vivid summer foliage and rich autumnal shades. Bright carmine-red shoots hold leaves which emerge pink in spring then mature to cream with pink and green splashes. Before autumn leaf fall, the foliage provides another season of interest when it turns yellow-orange. Berberis thunbergii ‘Natasza’ forms a compact, spreading shrub that is robust, hardy and low maintenance. The yellow flowers in March and April are fairly inconspicuous, but rich in nectar, attracting plenty of pollinating insects to the garden, whilst birds enjoy its dense, thorny cover, making it a useful shrub for attracting wildlife. A rewarding shrub which provides bright foliage colour in small gardens and containers. Height and spread: 1 m (3 ft).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
