This dwarf Barberry is particularly compact with a lovely neat, rounded habit. In late spring Berberis thunbergii ‘Kobold’ bears its small, pale lemon flowers against a backdrop of dark green foliage. This deciduous Berberis is at its finest from late summer when it bears plenty of glossy scarlet berries, just before the foliage turns to brilliant shades of orange. Like all Berberis, this species is reliable and easy to grow. Its compact habit makes it well suited to rockeries and the front of borders. Height: 40cm (16″). Spread: 60cm (24″).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
