Berberis Thunbergii ‘Golden Dream’

This eye-catching Japanese Barberry has much to offer. The young foliage emerges yellow on blood red stems which are speckled with dainty white flowers throughout spring. The nectar rich blooms of Berberis thunbergii ‘Golden Dream’ are loved by pollinating insects. By summer, the leaves mature to yellow-green, before changing once more to brilliant orange, contrasting perfectly with the red autumn berries. With an open, branching habit and a long season of interest, this deciduous shrub is ideal for creating colour accents among shrub borders. Height and spread: 150cm (60″).
