This dwarf form of native “Bog Rosemary” enjoys moist, peaty, acid soils and makes a pretty addition to a shady rock garden, a woodland corner or a container filled with ericaceous compost.
Andromeda polifolia ‘Compacta’ is a very hardy, evergreen shrub that forms dense round cushions of green linear foliage which resembles that of Rosemary. From May to June, it bears clusters of small, clear pink. nodding, bell-shaped flowers which are highly attractive to beneficial pollinators. RHS Award of Garden Merit. Height: 20cm (8in).
