This deciduous twining climber is grown for its distinctive, heart-shaped foliage. On mature plants the dark green leaves become painted at the tips with silvery-white and pink splashes. This unusual variegation only appears as the plant ages, tending to be more obvious towards the top of the plant – be patient, as it’s definitely worth waiting for! In early summer, Actinidia ‘Kolomikta’ bears clusters of white, fragrant flowers carried close to the stems among the dense, overlapping foliage. (Male and female flowers are borne on separate plants.) Actinidia ‘Kolomikta’ makes a fine specimen for a covering a sheltered, sunny wall with exotic looking foliage. Height: 4m (13’). Spread: 5m (16’).
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
